Cabinet painting is a great way to renovate your kitchen with color. When it comes to cabinet interior painting there are two way to provide color to your cabinets and that is by painting or staining. Before we discuss the pros and cons of each application process of the product I will like to inform you about the preparation work that comes prior to  cabinet painting. Preparation interior painting  work is determined on which application process you select for cabinet painting. For example if you decide to brush and roll your kitchen cabinets then you can most likely paint them pre-hung just by taping off hinges but still must remove door hardware such as cabinet door knobs.

Painting cabinets pre-hung is the simplest way of cabinet painting, but the downfall to brushing and rolling is that it shows brush and roller marks on the cabinet doors. In our opinion here at CorsPaint, that does not look very professional. Now painting your cabinets with a HVLP sprayer is the number one option when it comes to cabinet painting because it really gives the paint a very fine finish with no imperfections. Spraying your cabinets requires more preparation work involved for example you will have to remove all doors, knobs, hinges etc. Kitchen counter tops, floors, appliances, walls  and floors will have to be masked off completely to prevent overspray from getting on them areas.

Now that we have discussed the pros and cons of the preparation process for different ways to apply the product now lets discuss the pros and cons of the interior cabinet painting or staining. Painting cabinets gives you more of an color selection and the process is much easier than staining for example it requires sanding, priming and then painting. When staining kicthen cabinets the process is more difficult, but the benefit of staining is that it allows you to still see the wood grain in the cabinets but has a minimum option of color selection but the process requires sanding, rag staining, varnishing when is more difficuly then just spray painting.
